Aboriginal Government

Nova Scotia is home to many aboriginal communities, also known as First Nations. These communities are self-governing, and are not under the jurisdiction of the Nova Scotia government. The Office of Aboriginal Affairs manages the Province’s relationship with First Nations’ communities.
