Criminal Law

Criminal Law includes any offences that fall under the Criminal Code or the Youth Criminal Justice Act (for example, theft, fraud, or violent crimes). Most of the cases are heard at the Provincial Court level. Some cases are heard by the Supreme Court. Provincial Court judges have jurisdiction throughout Nova Scotia.
