Schools
Nova Scotia has a long, proud tradition of educational excellence. Canada’s first English universities and high schools were in Nova Scotia, and in 2006 three of the top ten universities in Canada were in Nova Scotia. A Nova Scotia education prepares students for careers or further studies anywhere in the world. And their credentials will be recognized virtually worldwide.
School attendance is compulsory from ages six to sixteen. There are several options for educating your child, including public schooling, private schooling, and home schooling. |
