Housing Services and Programs
The Nova Scotia government offers a number of programs to help lower income households maintain, acquire or rent safe, adequate and affordable housing. These services include grants for home repair, provincial loan and mortgage programs, government-owned rental housing, and more.

Nova Scotia also helps homeowners conserve energy, which helps the environment and saves money. The province offers EnerGuide for Houses, a program helping owners check the energy efficiency of their homes and make improvements.
